Attorney Smedley can easily be considered one of the most outstanding young attorneys in Northeast Pennsylvania, as she comes, not only with significant legal experience, but with a mind toward active community service. As a dedicated community volunteer, she has been appointed to numerous boards and committees in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, and has built a following for the causes which she serves. Attorney Smedley has remained an active and involved member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, serving as the Co-Chair of Zone 5 of the Young Lawyers’ Division (2002-2005) and also Board Member and Treasurer of the Lackawanna County Young Lawyer’s Division.

From a legal perspective, there are few attorneys in the area that have Attorney Smedley’s researching and case preparation skills. As a clerk for the Honorable Robert A. Mazzoni and also as a lawyer and litigation assistant for several experienced and well-respected trial/personal injury attorneys in the area, she has been able to learn the law and techniques in personal injury, product liability, commercial litigation and uninsured/underinsured motor vehicle insurance law.
